As much good there is to say about flexible solar panels, people always tend to want to find something wrong with them. Something that will give them a reason not to trust these flexible solar panels... Well, in this case they're out of luck. These silly things can even produce as much electricity as regular solar panels and they're much more resistant. Prices are even expected to drop 50% over the next year, and more than that if you decide to build your own home made solar panel (which isn't that hard).

Solar power is a great source of energy. It's free, it's trust worthy and it is of course green energy. The big problem has always been the pricing and the relatively-low-life they tend to have. This problem got scientists thinking, 'instead of having these huge solar panels, why not make them thinner and more resistant... maybe even flexible..?'

This little thought became what these panels that we now love. Small, effective and elegant. However, they didn't stop there. In fact not long from now, brand new super solar cells will be hitting the market. These cells are simply strings of fiber that capture sun light and produce electricity. They'll be producing relatively more electricity and the pricing will be allot less. It's time we all take a step into the world of solar power.
