Is Motorola Defy Mobile phone Your Type?

The Motorola Defy was released to improve the performance of the Motorola Android phones that were rolled out previously like the Cliq, the Cliq XT and the Charm. Sadly, the cell phones didn't function as well as expected so they were unsuccessful to draw the consumers.

Made of exceptional material like a gorilla glass and secluded by two-tone rigid plastic shell and a latch that is tightly placed onto the mobile phone, the Defy is claimed to resist against water and scratch. Although it doesn't have the military certification for salt, radical weather and solar radiation, the Motorola Defy Smartphone turns out to be one of a small amount of tough smartphones that offer several improved features.

If you look at at the Motorola defy, you immediately notice that it has a similar design to its predecessor: the Motorola i1. On the front, you find a great 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive screen with 262,000 colors and 480x854-pixel resolution like the Droid and the Droid X. It even uses a gorilla glass to withstand the screen from any scratches and dusts.

Even though the handset uses Android 2.1 OS in the face of many smartphones coming to marketplace with the Android 2.2, it is not that bad as the handset is still able to perform well and quickly. On the other hand, the people definitely require the handset to be updated to the Froyo as soon as possible.

Other necessary features are a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus (but lacks dedicated camera), Bluetooth with A2DP support, Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS with TeleNav support. The 800MHz processor is very good to run all applications effortlessly without necessary pause and lag.
