If you are planning on building your first computer from scratch a bare bones kit may be the best way to go, you won't have to worry about the parts being compatible because the vendor has already taken care of that for you. Buying a bare bones kit in most cases saves you money and it also guarantees you get exactly what you want, you will also know your computer inside out.

Before spending a dime I would recommend watching a few videos on how to build a computer.

Consider your budget and your needs carefully

Also get familiar with computer terminology and their meaning.

Before you build your own computer you will need a list of parts. You will also need an operating system to install, some tools to put your computer together with and a safe environment to work in.

• Static free Wrist Band

• Processor
• Processor Cooling Fan
• Motherboard
• Memory Modules (4 GB)
• Power Supply
• Video Card
• Keyboard & Mouse
• Monitor (Dual)
• Speakers
• Sound Card

The Procedure

· Research, Research and More Research. Spend at least 1 week to planning your PC build

· Buy a quality roomy case, a good case will help keep you system cool, and it also makes your custom pc look good, have (4 or more) cooling fans installed in your pc case, this ensures good ventilation.

· Buy a midrange price CPU, You'll get the best CPU for the money, a good mid range Quad processor will handle anything thrown at it! For word processing, or general computer tasks, go for the budget processors.

· If you are more into gaming or do work like video editing, go for a mid-range or high-end processor.

· Buy the best motherboard, don't skimp here! [Skip eating out for a week and invest the money in a good motherboard, it will be good for your body and Killer for your computer]

· Purchase at least 4 GB of High Speed Memory [consult your motherboard manual]

· I recommend at least [2] 1 TB Hard Drive, use secondary drive for storage and back, If your main drive fails you won't have to stress that much.

· Invest in a good video card; consider your needs first before buying a video card. Video cards, especially the latest models, cost a pretty penny.

· Invest in good fans
