You have finally decided on a Halls greenhouse. Now it is time to sift through the accessories which are available and decide which will fit your needs.

· The first accessory which I would consider an absolute necessity is the automatic roof vent opener. They are solar powered and are operated by a wax cylinder. You simply set this and forget it. No need to run out and open your roof vents in the morning before you go to work. They are definitely worth the price.

· Halls has a really nice louver available also. It is 24" wide x 18" high. This gives you extra ventilation. Although, I would still suggest using an exhaust fan with your greenhouse. They are meant to be put down low and across from the door for optimum air flow. They are available in mill aluminum or green aluminum to match your frame. They come as a manual unit, but an opener very similar to the automatic roof vent openers is available for this also.

· Greenhouse Benches - Halls has an excellent line of benches. They are 20" deep, so that you can easily reach across them and tend to your plants in the back of the bench. They come with one shelf or two shelves. There is also a top tier available for additional storage space. They are available in mill aluminum or green aluminum to match your frame.

· Shade cloth - Halls only offers shade cloth for the smallest of their units. But not to worry, shade cloths are readily available from other sources. The Halls shade cloth runs on wires so it can be open and shut easily. It is a 50% shade cloth.

· Downpipes - These are excellent to divert water away from the greenhouse. Also, you can use these downpipes to send your water to a rain barrel. You can then recycle the water and use it to water plants in the greenhouse.

· Hanging basket screws - These are plastic screws, but will last a good long time. They are made to go directly in the channel of the frame. You can use these individually, or use them to run a line front to back of your greenhouse. You must be careful not to overload them.

Buying your greenhouse is just the first part of getting set up to grow. With a combination of these accessories you can customize your greenhouse to work the best it can for your needs.
